I did it.
I sent off the article submission.
I did it all of half an hour ago.
So turns out I haven't moved on too much from the whole Chameleon Project Fiasco! Last minute once again, although hopefully with a little more substance.
Once again I nearly excused myself from sending it. Yes I could have spent more time on it, yes I could have researched how you actually go about writing these submissions, but no, I would probably never get round to it.
Here is the lesson from this weeks task: I learn by doing. I am a procrastinator and my big ideas scare me, but more and more I am beginning to follow through. And even if I don't do the grand idea justice there is always next time. After all, I only turn 23 at the end of the month.
That's right folks, that's a whole 7 years worth of material to come for this blog!
Anyway, the rest of the life project is going well, I am still gluten free and the darling Hannah has posted THIS wonderful update about the challenge. Next week I am thinking of updating with a bit of a foodie blog myself.
I'm not setting myself another task for next week because instead I embracing how exciting my life can be from one week to the next! This weekend I am heading off to Edinburgh with the wonderful Lucy and the weekend after that it is Galtres Festival!
So I am mixing business and pleasure, and some times running away for a weekend is good for the soul...
No doubt that will be the title of a post coming very soon!
Hopefully a much better post than this one, hey, I'm all 'writiered' out trying to battle this published journalism thing!
